APN-3 is a triaxial load shock absorber designed to protect equipment against vibratory and shock loads; it qualifies as a friction damping device. APN-3 shock absorbers ensure vibration protection over the frequency range of 30-2,000 Hz at the peak acceleration of up to 50 g and at the displacement amplitude of less than 1.5 mm; shock protection at the acceleration of up to 12g and at the shock pulse duration of 15-50 ms; protection against the linear acceleration of up to 25g along and transversal to the axis of the shock absorber.
