Rotating contactless transformer
Rotating transformer is an electrical machine, the output voltage of which is an input voltage and rotor angular position function.
The output voltage depends on input voltage linearly, and on the rotor angular position – either linearly, or as a sine or a cosine function.
The transformer is designed to convert mechanical values into an electrical signal in accordance with the given functional dependency.
Rotating transformers have two similar mutually traverse primary (driving and quadrature) and have two similar mutually traverse secondary (sine and cosine) coils.
B1,B2 - excitation coil, C1,C2 - sine coil, K1,K2 - cosine coil
For 2,5BVT-P: coils B1, B2 - output coils
For 2,5BVT-2: excitation coils — B1, B2 ; quadrature coils - BЗ, B4 ; sine coils — C1, C2 ; cosine coils - K1, K2
