Selsyn is an induction electrical machine that, provided with a constant voltage on the input, produces a voltage set, phase and value of which correspond to rotor angular position, on the output coils. Selsyns also allow to convert such a voltage set into a corresponding rotor angular position, or into a voltage, phase and value of which is an input voltage and rotor angular position function.
